Watch Adele Perform ‘Someone Like You’ at Glastonbury

Singer delivers 15-song set, debuts "River Lea" live at much-anticipated headlining gig

Adele headlined the U.K.’s famed Glastonbury festival Saturday, a much anticipated gig that the singer called “the best fucking moment of my whole life” during the show. The 15-song, 90-minute-long set featured the live debut of 25‘s “River Lea” alongside over a dozen of the singer’s hits including the headlining set’s closer “Someone Like You,” which can be viewed above via the BBC.

By NME’s count, Adele cursed 33 times during her headlining set. While that kind of public profanity could get someone arrested in St. Kitts, it only warranted a language warning on BBC, who aired the performance live. “Do you know how rock and roll I am? Not very, but the BBC had to give a warning about my potty mouth before I went on. I bet Muse didn’t get that,” Adele joked.

Adele also commented briefly on the Brexit situation that has shaken the United Kingdom the past few days. “It’s a bit weird all the stuff that’s going on at the moment, and we all need to look after each other,” Adele advised.

Prior to “Skyfall,” Adele revealed why a video for the James Bond theme was never made. “I didn’t do a video because I was nine and half months pregnant and about to drop any day. Who wants to do a Bond video if you don’t look like Halle Berry,” the singer said.

Glastonbury marked the last and largest concert on Adele’s European itinerary. The singer will next head stateside for the North American leg of her 25 jaunt, set to kick off July 5th and 6th at St. Paul’s Xcel Energy Center.
