Watch Adora’s Enchanting Video for ‘Magical Symphony’

The single leads the singer-songwriter and former BigHit producer's first EP 'Adorable REbirth'

Published by

Singer-songwriter and composer Adora has made an entrancing return to the spotlight with “Magical Symphony.” Leading her first EP Adorable REbirth, the single captures the soloist’s penchant for all things magical with a dash of breezy choreography to spruce things up.

Co-composed and co-written by Adora herself, “Magical Synpmphy” brings the zest and dynamism of pop, ushered by the singer’s euphonious vocals. Further characterized by lively brass sounds and other elements picked from a marching band ensemble, the single matches the vivacity of the lyrics as Adora celebrates the beginning of a new chapter in her life as a soloist on the rise: “Feels Like I’ve been reborn/ The chandelier moonlight brightens the night/ The lights dancing as their footwork match/ A festival made for me/ Everything, everything, everything feels like a dream.”

Aside from her stellar vocal delivery cementing why Adora is a force to be reckoned with, the singer doesn’t shy away from swaying to the rhythm. Loosely resembling a live-action structure, the music video commences with the unveiling of giant theater curtains to reveal a bubbly Adora searching for something. Right before the song commences, she is seen sprinting towards a door that leads her to a warm, brightly colored town where the residents seem to dance to Adora’s cues. As the marching band ensemble intensifies, Adora performs for one last time with the town residents right before turning the lights off on a well-staged play.

Accompanied by B-side tracks “My Guy,” “CBGC,” “Blue Blue Space” and “Starlight,” Adorable REbirth marks Adora’s first EP since the singer announced her debut as a soloist last year. For long-time fans of BTS and Tomorrow x Together (TXT), the South Korean singer-songwriter and producer is no unfamiliar name. Over the last five years, the former BigHit Music producer employed her musical sensibilities to craft BTS and TXT’s celebrated discography. Shortly after dazzling the world with her delightfully spunky performance on her solo debut single “Make U Dance,” Adora went on to release two singles titled “The Little Name” and “Trouble? Travel!” The noteworthy debut landed her the fourth spot on Rolling Stone India’s 10 Best K-pop Debuts of 2021 list.
