Watch Charli XCX Bring Out Caroline Polachek for ‘Welcome to My Island’ at Roskilde

The singers and collaborators also did the Macarena onstage at Denmark festival

Charli XCX continues to showcase her Brat on festival stages across Europe, and during her Friday set at Denmark’s Roskilde, she brought out Caroline Polachek to perform their 2023 collaboration “Welcome to My Island (Remix).”

XCX had performed the track — which first appeared on Polachek’s album Desire, I Want to Turn Into You before it was remixed by Charli and her now-fiancé George Daniel — solo at a few of her recent Brat shows, but Friday marked the first time the two singers had performed “Welcome to My Island (Remix)” together at one of Charli’s shows; they previously played it together at Polachek’s Los Angeles concert in April 2023.

The singers and friends — who have also collaborated on Charli’s songs “Tears” as well as “New Shapes” along with Christine and the Queens — appeared to do the “Macarena” during the performance:

Brat Summer” will continue in Europe through July 12 in Ibiza before “Brat Fall” kicks off in North America with the launch of the Sweat co-headlining tour with Troye Sivan; the two recently shared the stage together in London. That arena trek kicks off September 14 in Detroit and concludes October 23 in Seattle.
