The super producer played a DJ set to mark the 21st birthday of the Australian landmark’s BridgeClimb attraction
DJs are probably up for all kinds of feats when it comes to spinning their tunes. We’ve heard about a DJ in outer space, underwater and then some. But now you’ve got one of the world’s most famous producer-DJs taking to the decks for a new record of sorts.
Thomas Wesley Pentz aka Diplo, who just released his latest collab with the Jonas Brothers “Lonely” earlier today, got busy scaling the Sydney Harbour Bridge in Australia, not as a tourist but to get on DJ duty. The Major Lazer founder was 440 feet above sea level with a bird’s eye view of the Sydney Opera House along with guests who had headphones and speakers to move along to the set.
The event marked the 21st birthday of BridgeClimb, a company that facilitates climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge for tourists all around the globe. The “Que Calor” and “Lean On” hitmaker is also expected to stick around in Australia, performing at the traveling Listen Out Festival, which kicked off in Melbourne today.
