The video features the #HaqSeHipHop anthem composed and sung by MC Siddu, MC John and MC YoungLord of The Dharavi Dream Project

The animation video sees the verticals of #HaqSeHipHop come to life in color
Earlier this week, Rolling Stone India and digital media firm Qyuki unveiled #HaqSeHipHop, a multi-platform endeavor to promote India’s flourishing hip-hop scene. The movement will celebrate the success stories of India’s top hip-hop artists, visionaries and emerging talent while using its four pillars — Bolo, Dekho, Seekho and Hindustan — to inspire and invest in the next generation of hip-hop.
These four verticals are the essence of #HaqSeHipHop, chronicling and promoting the Indian hip-hop scene by means of an audio and video podcast, an inspirational video series, masterclasses and a multi-city gig series featuring breakout rappers Naezy and Prabh Deep, producer Sez, hip-hop collectives Swadesi, Dopeadelicz, Khasi Bloodz and more.
The animation also features the #HaqSeHipHop anthem which has been written, composed and performed by MC Siddu, MC John and MC YoungLord (Franky) from The Dharavi Dream Project, which runs the After-School of Hip-Hop, Asia’s largest such institution where budding artists learn the skills of rapping, beatboxing, bboying, DJing and graffiti. The anthem has been produced by Krish Trivedi. The motion graphics have been created by Mumbai-based video artist Piya Pahwa and sees the verticals of the movement come to life in color as the MCs drop their bars.
