The pop star features in an ad to promote his own brand of tequila

If you thought, Hulk makes green look good, Justin Timberlake lent the color a whole new shade of cool in a new mockumentary style commercial for Sauza 109, a tequila brand that he co-owns. Timberlake dressed up as a lime to narrate the highs and lows in the life of Rick “Sour” Vane, a lime who went out of business with the rest of his crop in America, as soon as Sauza 109 launched in 2013. The witty commercial, which shows off Timberlake’s comedy chops, was released just ahead of Cinco de Mayo, a day that marks the Mexican army’s victory over France in 1862 and is celebrated all over America and Mexico.
Sauza 109 is named after the area code of Timberlake’s hometown of Memphis.
