Watch Lil Wayne Perform for First Time After Seizures
Rapper appeared at Electronic Entertainment Expo
Lil Wayne performed during Electronic Entertainment Expo on Wednesday, just two days after he suffered seizures that required hospitalization.
On Wednesday, the rapper appeared to be in good spirits judging from TMZ‘s video from his set. He performed in a Samsung booth while skateboarders skated behind him on a half-pipe stage and his setlist reportedly included “John” and “No Ceilings.” As APÂ noted, the rapper was originally scheduled to appear at the video game trade show on Tuesday to promote his mobile skateboarding game, “Sqvad Up.”
His E3 appearance followed his hospitalization in Omaha, NE on Monday after his private plane made two emergency landings. The rapper suffered a seizure while in the air. On Tuesday, Lil Wayne took to Twitter to thank fans for their support. “Thanx for all the prayers!! I love y’all,” he tweeted.
This wasn’t the first time Wayne experienced a medical emergency while in flight. In 2012, he suffered a seizure, which forced his private jet to make an emergency landing in Texas where he was hospitalized. Five months later, while working on a music video, the rapper was hospitalized overnight for additional seizures. Two weeks later, Wayne publicly revealed that he had epilepsy.
