Track is first single off June's 'Drones,' the band's first LP in three years
Muse continues with the avant-garde, post-apocalyptic theme of their previously released visuals for June’s Drones LP with a video for new song “Dead Inside.” The clip spotlights a dark-eyed, dystopian pair interpretive dancing to the funky horror tune.
“To me, ‘Drones’ are metaphorical psychopaths which enable psychopathic behavior with no recourse,” said Bellamy in a statement. “The world is run by Drones utilizing Drones to turn us all into Drones. Drones explores the journey of a human, from their abandonment and loss of hope, to their indoctrination by the system to be a human drone, to their eventual defection from their oppressors.”
Drones will be released on June 9th.
