The Kolkata-based synth-pop outfit’s latest video is about the ups and down of being in love

Kolkata’s electro-pop duo Oh, Rocket comprising producer and vocalist Aniket Dutta and guitarist Shubharun Sengupta has released a video for their track “Blue Raccoon Days.” The track from their second EP titled Clever.Clever is cinematic and led by dreamy vocals, with samples of oddly-recorded dialogues and spoken word, which add an element of darkness to it.
Shot in Latvia in Northern Europe, the video shows a day in the life of a couple and spins a story that is immediately accessible. The visuals tell a tale of the trials of a relationship as much as they portray the brighter side of being in love. Says Dutta about the video that was made early this year, “I have some friends in Latvia – Jan, Kril (Janis Jostmanis and Kirils Zeleznovs) – they liked my music and wanted to make a video for this song. Jan directed it.”
