Watch Prateek Kuhad’s Adorable New Video ‘Tum Jab Paas’

The singer-songwriter croons a heart-melter of a new single, with a video about first love

Prateek Kuhad has often been compared to the likes of English singer-songwriter Ben Howard, when he’s put his anxieties and hopes on the line with soothing guitar work and vocals.
It’s a major part of his appeal, something that’s led him to everywhere from Rio de Janeiro to Austin, Texas. Up next, he’s going to music event Marché International du Disque et de l’Edition Musicale (MIDEM) in Cannes in June.
Ahead of that there’s his latest release, “Tum Jab Paas,” as part of Saavn’s Artist Originals series. Kuhad says about the song, “It’s centred around the pronounced yet conflicting feelings of intimacy and vulnerability, that come with being in love. Hopefully, listening to the song will make one feel something honest and real”.
The video, created by Mumbai production house CATNIP, features a symnol-rich, adorable tale of love that starts out in school.
