Watch Rihanna’s Striking ‘Kiss It Better’ Video

Singer goes solo in simple, black-and-white clip

Rihanna has debuted the gorgeous, black-and-white video for her new single “Kiss It Better.” The solo clip follows the double-video release for single “Work” featuring Drake.

Directed by Craig McDean, the video features Rihanna against a stark black background. She contorts her body and poses in outfits ranging from an oversized suit to lingerie as wind blows through her hair. The video ends with her walking away slowly into the dark background.

Rihanna was supposed to sing “Kiss It Better” at the Grammy Awards until she had to cancel at the last minute to go on “vocal rest,” per her doctor’s orders. The day after the ceremony, Late Late Show host James Corden revealed that the pair had an Eighties talk show-themed performance.

The pop star released her long-anticipated eighth album, Anti, in January after teasing the LP for most of 2015 with singles “FourFiveSeconds” and “Bitch Better Have My Money.” Earlier this month, she launched her Anti world tour with opener Travis Scott.
