Watch Tejas Walk the Length of Bandra’s Reclamation in New Video for ‘River’

The Mumbai singer-songwriter released his new electronica leaning single in collaboration with producer FamLi today

Published by

Earlier today, Mumbai singer-songwriter Tejas put out fresh music for the first time since his highly acclaimed 2017 debut LP Make It Happen.

The new single, “River,” is an electronica and synth driven track in collaboration with Toronto/Mumbai producer Arnob Bal aka FamLi. While Tejas has been flirting with electronica beats and sounds at recent solo gigs, “River” is the first time he’s pushed his creativity to the extreme opposite end from what we know his music to be. As FamLi creates a luxuriant flow of soundscapes, the singer-songwriter glides effortlessly through the song with his breezy vocals evoking a silky undertone.

The accompanying music video for the track shows Tejas walking the length of Mumbai’s Bandra Reclamation highway at the wee hours of the night with his headphones plugged in and singing along to the song through a hazy and glitchy lens.

Watch the music video for “River” below and stream the song here.
