Watch TEN’s Playful, Vibrant Music Video for ‘Paint Me Naked’

Released under SM Entertainment’s project ‘SM Station,’ the digital single sees singer and dancer honing his talents with energetic vocals and crisp choreography

Aug 10, 2021

WayV, NCT and SuperM’s vocalist and dancer TEN unveils an upbeat music video for his latest all-English release, “Paint Me Naked.” The track was released via the artist’s label SM Entertainment’s long-running digital music project, SM Station

Singing about a romantic connection so strong that it defies society’s expectations, TEN channels a carefree persona as he sings, “So baby don’t tame me / You found a lion / You Prey me / Oh baby don’t fail me / Cause you really make my fancy work.” He further goes on to express his commitment and almost dazed like affection in the chorus, “So tell me where you wanna take it / I’m your figure you could paint me naked / Like a picture, I can see our love running wild/ Baby be my weekend.” Characterized by a pop-rock guitar riff, “Paint Me Naked” loosely resembles feel-good tracks of the early 2010s.

Jumping from scenes of him sitting alone on a pavement to dancing between gigantic trucks outside a loading dock, TEN matches the up-tempo beats of the track through energetic choreography sequences and playful expressions. The visuals are bright and cheerful to express young unfiltered love and a summery mood. The music video concludes within the walls of an art gallery, where TEN displays his exceptional vocal abilities as he dances under a brilliant shower of paint.

Following his 2017 solo debut with “Dream In A Dream” and 2018’s “New Heroes,” “Paint Me Naked” marks TEN’s third release under SM Station.
