Earlier this week, American rap star 50 Cent announced he was returning to Mumbai on November 25th, as part of his Final Lap World Tour. Here's who we think would be perfect openers for the influential hip-hop artist.

With a chopper flow and unending wealth of stories to tell, Mumbai rapper Kidshot makes a good fit simply because 50 Cent was one of the first rappers he discovered. It was via music he and his friend found on a phone they stole. "We found that they were coming from the same background as us, just rapping in English,” Kidshot says.

When it comes to repping English rap in the country, Bengaluru-based Hanumankind sits at the top of the hill alongside the likes of Brodha V. Known for hard-hitting songs and endless wordplay, songs like "Go To Sleep" will definitely hit different in an arena setting.

As we mentioned before, if English rap from India needs to get repped at the 50 Cent India concert, then Brodha V is a no-brainer. Unmistakably influenced by the likes of Eminem, Brodha V also brings an arena-ready live band and has plenty of Indian elements to keep things local and global.
