If you grew up watching pro wrestling in the Nineties and early 2000s, you’re likely to have been introduced to stand-out music. After all, every wrestler’s entry into WWE rings came with a distinct entrance song. Here are just a few unforgettable ones.

Dwayne Johnson had a swagger that was electrifying and his groovy, gritty entrance theme was distinct in that it posed a very important question, “Do you smell what The Rock is cookin’?”

The numbers 3:16 have always had a different connotation for Stone Cold fans and the among the most distinguishable hallmarks was the sound of shattering glass. A ripping guitar riff reminded us it was time for stunners.

As far as vocal catchphrases go, nothing can beat having Motorhead’s Lemmy Kilminster proclaiming “Time to play The Game!” with a devilish laugh. Triple H had just that, complete with a menacing bridge section.

If The Rock could raise his fist, Stone Cold could slam a few beer cans and Triple H could do his spray, Kane had pyrotechnics on his side. The frightfully-timed entrance was heightened by a contorted guitar riff that’s seared right into memory.

For all his truly ghoulish entrances across eras, The Undertaker still retained the ominous bell-toll in his entrance music. It was usually followed by “Are you scared?” or little children warning, “He’s here.” A chilling intro followed by everything from drone to rock riffs.

All that darkness and brooding is fine for some wrestlers, John Cena came out to roaring trumpets and Mexican-flavored fanfare when he claimed “You can’t see me, my time is now.” While he had a whole rap side explaining Basic Thuganomics, but the horns were most distinctive.

While different WWE crews like New World Order came out to some scene-stealing music, D-Generation X boldly asked, “Are you ready?” The care-a-damn attitude was distilled in the fist-tight riffs for this wild rock song.

Jericho introduced his signature move and shouted out a bold statement to “Break the walls down” in his entrance. Plenty of rock power in there, given that Jericho had up his own career as a musician in the band Fozzy.
