KSHMR’s Next Album: DIVINE, Raja Kumari, MC Stan and More Join In

The American EDM producer and DJ recently hit the studio in India and has been steadily dropping hints of collaborations in store.

Kshmr 

On July 5th last year, California-bred Indian-origin electronic producer and DJ KSHMR took to Instagram to say he’s “making moves in Mumbai.” He went on to reveal a slew of heavy hitters who are part of his upcoming album.

MC STAN

The first name announced was among the Internet’s most fervently followed, Pune rap star MC STAN. KSHMR added the hashtag #makinghistory to add perspective to the collaboration.

DIVINE

Mumbai hip-hop star DIVINE was also revealed to be in the studio with KSHMR. This isn’t the first time they’re collaborating, however. DIVINE joined the likes Lit Killah, Jeremy Oceans and Karra for KSHMR’s March 2022 song “Lion Heart.”

D’EVIL

Following the Gully Gang founder, KSHMR revealed that the next rapper on his upcoming album was his crew’s inimitable rapper D’Evil. “Making magic with the OG,” the electronic artist added on Instagram.

KARAN KANCHAN

Although ace producer Karan Kanchan has been a part of hefty desi hip-hop bangers in the past, this time he’s sharing credits with KSHMR on the latter’s album. Kanchan said on Instagram, “Got to learn so much from the GOAT himself @kshmr!”

RAJA KUMARI

KSHMR said of finding his latest collaborator in Raja Kumari, “Finally! After many years knowing each other, grateful to have @TheRajaKumari on this new album.” The singer, songwriter and rapper commented: “Means the world! It’s go time.”
