The double LP will be ”” fittingly ”” pressed on one red, one white vinyl disc. A standard black vinyl edition will be available later this year.

The White Stripes appeared on John Peel’s famed BBC radio show twice in 2001 ”” July and November ”” right after the release of their breakthrough third album, White Blood Cells. The sessions, which have been widely bootlegged since their original broadcast, boast selections from White Blood Cells, the group’s self-titled debut and 2000’s De Stijl. They also feature an assortment of covers including Dolly Parton’s “Jolene,” Gene Vincent’s “Baby Blue” and the MC5’s “Looking at You.”

Third Man’s Record Store Day lineup also includes a 7-inch of Jack White’s recent cover of Stevie Wonder’s “You Are the Sunshine of My Life,” which he recorded and performed on ABC’s The Muppets. The disc will be pressed on “It’s Not Easy Being Green Colored Vinyl” and will only be available at Third Man stores in Nashville and Detroit.

Third Man will also release its latest Blue Series 7-inch, featuring B-52’s singer Kate Pierson. White produced the single, which includes a cover of Shocking Blue’s “Venus” and “Radio in Bed.” A new video for Pierson’s rendition of “Venus” is available to watch as well.
