Winner of Hard Rock Battle Of The Bands To Open For The Boss

The annual Hard Rock Battle of the Bands, Hard Rock Rising, is back and the ongoing three-month long eliminations this year are a run-up to the big finale in Hyde Park, London where one lucky band will win a chance to open for Bruce Springsteen and The E-Street Band at the three-day Hard Rock Calling, from July 13th to 15th. 

The global talent hunt selects winners from all of their Hard Rock Cafe locations around the world with local, national, regional and continental finale based on popular voting, jury selections and a battle face-off. The Indian finalists last year were Bombay Bassment and Swarathma, who were tied to vie for the winning spot.

This year, the participating bands are fairly fresh and young, which includes Uncretainty Principle, The Urban Early Men, Frank’s Got The Funk, Spud In The Box and many more.  Two semi-finals have already been held in the five Hard Rock properties in the country, which includes Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The third one will be held tomorrow, March 15th in all of the five cities. This will be followed by a regional finale in each of the five cities on March 22nd.
