Wiz Khalifa Preps New LP, Recruits Travis Scott for ‘Bake Sale’

Wiz Khalifa proudly blazes on “Bake Sale,” a new song from his upcoming LPKhalifa. The stoner-friendly cut ”“Â produced by TM88, Juicy J, Lex Luger, DJ Spinz and Crazy Mike, according to Pitchfork ”“Â finds Khalifa boasting about his “wake and bake” lifestyle, rapping over watery keys, pulsating synth-bass and a snaking trap beat.

“And it’s all at my bake sale,” Khalifa observes, detailing his assorted weed-related supplies. “Roll another one, help me think well.” Later, he brags about his crew’s intake: “We wakin’ and bakin’, puffin’ a J / She told me that I’m her new favorite / How much do we blaze? A hundred a day.” Scott contributes the heavily auto-tuned chorus hook. Listen below.

The 13-track Khalifa, the rapper’s follow-up to 2014’s Blacc Hollywood and last month’s Cabin Fever 3 mixtape, is out February 5th via Atlantic. In addition to Scott, the LP includes guest spots from Ty Dolla $ign, Juicy J, Rico Love, Courtney Noelle, Sebastian and Chevy Woods.

Khalifa, the eighth highest-paid rapper of 2015, is also expected to release another LP, Rolling Papers 2: The Weed Album, this year. “I’m trying to make this album one of the best. If we get the right people together, we can make that shit,” he said of the project, one of Rolling Stone‘s 20 Most Anticipated Rap Albums of 2016. “My whole goal is to make a consistent vibe.”
