Happy New Year✨🤍 I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting and I’ve decided that 2022 I’m gonna be living much more unapologetically and fully. I’m so grateful for the year I had, though. Most notably, I’m so grateful to have finally given y’all some music. PRELUDE was my little baby that could..I got to create with some incredible people, be a part of some amazing projects, travel, went on my first sold out headlining tour, loved hard, released what wasn’t aligned, learned many lessons, broke down and built myself back up about 1000 times and each time it got easier to stay aligned in my truth; this coming year I’m ready to live in it fully. I’m ready to engage and experience every day and be present. More joy, more love, more life, more yeses, more play, more orgasms, more water, more greens, more movement, more dancing, more light, more prayer, more presence, more LIFE. I’m praying to soften even more in all the places I’ve let harden for protection. I’m praying to surrender with ease, I’m not fighting anymore just listening. Listening to my heart, cracking her open and falling deeply and madly in love with mySelf and the life reflected around me. This year was about developing grace for mySelf, acknowledging my wins regardless of public acknowledgment, honoring mySelf, my boundaries and my true needs. Shedding the people pleaser, shedding the imposter syndrome, shedding the anger, guilt & shame and saturating mySelf in the light of my existence. Remembering I’m a gift, if to no one else, myself. This year is about me. This year is about cultivating my highest Self and allowing her to exist and thrive. No more hiding. Sending you love always always always✨🤍

How tf is it Noche Buena..?

Coast to coast in 48 hours. So many feelings as this year closes and another one comes. Time continues to prove its non existence. You know what I’m grateful for though? Love. In all it’s beautiful expressions. I’m grateful for friendship, connection, presence, people who divine expressions of its essence and give it freely. That’s what I’m choosing more of this next go around. More joy, more presence, more peace, more fun, more abundance of love and art, luxurious unapologetic self care and people who feel the same way. 🦋

I’ve spent the last two days in hibernation. Sleeping, dreaming, reading, resting, releasing. A new moon is upon us right as I wrap up this potent, beautiful, affirming, joyful experience. #AnEveningWithLaurenJauregui has come to a close for the year. I could not have prayed for a more beautiful experience honestly; seeing your faces each of those nights, knowing that you sold out each one of these shows brought me a feeling of love that’s difficult to describe. Hearing you sing these songs back to me word for word further healed something in me that I didn’t even know was left. Sharing energy and space & moments both on and off stage with the beautiful creatives around me was an honor. Thank you @sashadm and @josegabee for expressing and moving with me on those stages, you are each so brilliant and living art. To say this is my first tour since I began a whole nine years ago is wild. To be reminded night after night that I really get to do what I love and get support from you all and my friends and family around the country/globe is just...surreal. I’m so grateful for this dream, so grateful for you all, so grateful to everyone who helped me bring this to life (@iamcoraldolphin your visions were essential), so grateful for where we have yet to go, grateful to mySelf for honoring my truth and continuing to go and grow towards my destiny, grateful to my ancestors, angels, guides and God. Glory✨ also a huge thank you to @6lack for joining me at the Teragram in LA and @vicmensa for coming out in Chicago. So grateful to have chosen collaborators/friends who show up and support. Lately I’ve been feeling like there is no where to be except right here. Presence is something I’ve allowed to be fleeting but have been praying on cultivating. Presence and patience with myself as I move through moments I’ve dreamt of. My attention on things both inside and out of me have a habit of distracting me and keeping me from seeing where I’ve come; machinating, thinking of what was or what will be.
Or what could be or what won’t..Impossibly living in expectations of the living..as if any of it matters. I’ve been pondering letting go of old selves, old ideas of love, old paradigms that keep me confined to a version of me that isn’t mine. It’s all quite performative anyway isn’t it? Hahaha. To be alive. To write, to feel, to express in such a time when nothing matters..I think that discovering the way I actually feel is the well from which my creativity grows...getting to the core..The root..To heal it..to look at it..to ground myself in a truth that is always pregnant with the possibility of changing. In this world of constant distraction of which most days I am intimately a part of..how can I remain present? How can I keep my idea of me out of the way of who I keep becoming...time is just nothing...so how do I keep running out of it? How do I learn to run into it instead? Thoughts in my head...
