Rockers climb to dizzying heights for new video

Yeah Yeah Yeahs summit the Empire State Building in their new video for Mosquito cut “Despair,” crying out atop a dizzying height as they overlook New York City. Singer Karen O starts the clip by making a scene in a bar, before the action shifts to show guitarist Nick Zinner in a cab and drummer Brian Chase napping on the subway, each on his way to the Empire State Building.
The musicians eventually convene at the top of the skyscraper, with Chase and Zinner joining their bandmate as the track adds whirling guitar and pounding drums to Karen Os spare vocals. Shes all smiles as the song unfolds and the band takes a minute to take in the view from their heightened perspective. The camera pans out, and its clear just how far Yeah Yeah Yeahs have come.
