India got another internationally established festival coming to town when Mexico’s Zamna Festival announced it would set up in Mumbai on Sept. 28 and in Gurugram/Delhi NCR on Sept. 29.

Now, the lineup for the debut editions of Zamna Festival India is out, featuring electronic artists such as Indo Warehouse founders Kahani vs Kunal Merchant, Berlin-based techno/house/IDM duo Mind Against, Italian composer and multi-instrumentalist Giorgia Angiuli, Barcelona’s Shall Ocin and Spanish duo Animal Picnic.

Presented by Bacardi Experiences and curated by Paytm Insider along with event companies Paradox & WMS Entertainment, Zamna India 2024 takes place at NESCO Center, Mumbai and at Gymkhana Club, Gurugram.

Zamna India – which was announced in June this year – is taking place just after the global festival’s France edition in Cote D’Azur in August and coincides with Zamna Madrid, which takes place on Sept. 27 and 28. In October, Zamna returns to Mexico City, taking place between Oct. 25 and 27.

In the past, the festival – founded in 2017 – has hosted editions in cities including Barcelona, Miami, New York, Ibiza, Milan, São Paulo, Dubai, and Malta, among others.

At the time of announcing Zamna India, the festival’s founder Stefano Laporta said in a statement, “We are very happy to bring Zamna to India for the first time. India has an incredible fan base that visits us in Tulum every January and brings a beautiful vibe. That is the concept we want to show here — of unity, of brotherhood and love for music and nature.”

Tickets for Zamna are currently priced at ₹2,499 for general access, with premium access tickets selling for ₹4,299. Phase 3 backstage passes in Mumbai are priced at ₹11,000 while Phase 2 backstage passes in Gurugram are currently available for ₹10,500.
