Zamna Festival Announces Mumbai and Delhi Dates in March 2025
Tulum-origin electronic music festival made its India debut earlier this year with artists like Mind Against, Indo Warehouse and more performing in 2024
After making its debut in September this year, electronic music festival Zamna has announced an early return to India for its second edition. Zamna will take place on Mar. 29, 2025 in Mumbai and on Mar. 30, 2025 in Delhi NCR.
While the venue and lineup will be announced in the coming weeks, early bird tickets are now live for both city editions of Zamna India, starting at ₹1,999 for general access, ₹3,299 for premium access and ₹8,000 for backstage access. The Indian edition of the festival which originated in Tulum, Mexico is curated and promoted by event company Paradox, ticketing/entertainment platform District by Zomato and entertainment company WMS Entertainment.
The debut edition of Zamna India in September also took place in Mumbai and Gurugram, reportedly bringing in over 12,000 fans. A press release adds, “Now, following this extraordinary success, Zamna returns with a promise to be even bigger, bolder and better. Expect a sublime production featuring custom-designed lighting, cutting-edge sound design and stunning visuals that will collectively invoke a primal, jungle-inspired ambience.”
The lineup is being teased as “some of the most celebrated names in the international techno scenes – artists and DJs who have headlined Zamna’s previous editions in Tulum.” Earlier this year, the festival’s India edition brought in electronic artists such as Indo Warehouse founders Kahani vs Kunal Merchant, Berlin-based techno/house/IDM duo Mind Against, Italian composer and multi-instrumentalist Giorgia Angiuli, Barcelona’s Shall Ocin and Spanish duo Animal Picnic.
Zamna founder Stefano Laporta said in a statement, “It’s an honor to bring Zamna back to India for 2025. India’s vibrant music community inspires us, and this year, we’re creating an experience that celebrates unity through music, art, and unforgettable moments.”
District by Zomato’s head of events Varun Khare added, “We are thrilled that India will host a second edition of Zamna after its monumental success last year. Partnering with Paradox and WMS Entertainment enables us to present this popular culture electronic movement to Indian audiences, further enriching the country’s dynamic music scene.”
WMS co-founder Akshat Kumar said in his statement, “This time, we aim to make it a larger-than-ever celebration of the finest in dance music.”
Paradox founder Karan Narang added, “Zamna India 2025 promises an even more immersive celebration of dance music, offering unparalleled experiences and redefining how we connect with sound and art. We can’t wait to share the magic once again.”
