BTS Announces 2021 Muster ‘SOWOOZOO’
The South Korean septet will celebrate their eighth anniversary with a two-day event
South Korean superstars BTS have announced their plans for their eight anniversary with their fandom ARMY. Titled ‘BTS 2021 Muster SOWOOZOO,’ this year’s show will be a special two-day event.
Scheduled for June 13th and 14th, the Muster will feature various events, with June 14th titled ‘World Tour Version’ to showcase the group’s foreign language songs. Details about ticketing, timings and streaming will be announced soon. The group also revealed the official poster for ‘SOWOOZOO,’ which features all the members standing together and holding the various planets of the solar system on strings like balloons.
BTS host a Muster almost every year during their debut anniversary–13th June– to spend time with their fandom ARMY as well as celebrate how far they have come. While there was no Muster last year, the group chose to stream their shows for fans over a two-day free streaming event titled Bang Bang Con, a mini-concert to follow it up called Bang Bang Con: The Live and later in October held the two-day live concert extravaganza, Map of the Soul ON:E.
The megastars made a comeback yesterday with their latest digital single “Butter,” racking up over 113 million views on YouTube and breaking the record for most views for a video in the first 24 hours–a record held previously by their own track “Dynamite.” BTS are set to perform “Butter” for the first time at the Billboard Music Awards this Sunday, May 23rd.
