At Bengaluru’s Hard Rock Café, Third Eye Blind frontman Stephan Jenkins and his band took the time machine back into the Nineties, obliging  fans by playing their smash hits such as “Jumper,” “Deep Inside of You,” “Never Let You Go” and “Crystal Baller.” Only two tracks from their last album Ursa Major made it to their set list in India.

The Bengaluru gig was part of the band’s four- city Bacardi Go-Together Mix tour. Though the crowd was nowhere close to the horde that showed up for Finnish rockers Poets Of The Fall, who played at the same venue in August this year, the San Franciso quartet played a crowd pleasing concert, well attended by female fans. Hardcore fans of 3eb also got to hear their controversial track “Slow Motion,” from their sophomore album, Blue. Half way through the gig, drummer Brad Hargreaves took the spotlight by playing a high energy solo set. The band even played a cover of “Feel So Close” by Calvin Harris. Though the entire set was barely over an hour and wrapped up by 10pm, Jenkins finally gave in to the crowd’s repeated requests by playing “Semi Charmed Life” as the last song.
