Bengaluru Alt Rock Duo Over The Edge Debut with Mesmeric Single ‘Feel Alive’

The pair worked with producer Aditya Meher from OpenWindows on the song

When Bengaluru vocalists-guitarists Dhanush K and Hanan Mir met in college last year, they instantly shared a similar taste in music and got along quite well with one another. That’s when the pair decided to form an alt-rock outfit called Over The Edge. Now, the band is out with their debut enthralling single “Feel Alive.”

For the longest time, Over The Edge struggled to come up with original material. However, this past December Dhanush K managed to pen something worthwhile. “Feel Alive” includes quaint guitar and keyboard parts as well as melancholy before the track blossoms towards the end into an alt-rock banger. “The song talks about a person who has nothing going right in life,” says Dhanush K.

Over The Edge brought on board Bengaluru producer Aditya Meher from fellow alt-rock band OpenWindows to help with recording the song. “Feel Alive” was tracked at the band’s home studios and mixed and mastered by Meher. The band is already in the midst of working on new music that they plan on releasing soon. Dhanush K says, “We’ve been wanting to put our music out for people to listen to and make our audience bigger and showcase our talent.” He adds, “I hope we get there.”
