With a youthful energy that permeates their music, K-pop act CRAVITY returns with their seventh mini album, EVERSHINE.

It welcomes the next phase of CRAVITY’s exponential trajectory, embracing the euphoric energy of youth. After an incredible first world tour, a performance at KCON LA, and an official debut in Japan, CRAVITY is all about sharing honest emotions via their music in a way that is now more distinctive than ever.

Our journey to the sun begins after experiencing love, persevering through hardships, overcoming emotions, and overcoming pain. That is at the heart of EVERSHINE, a vivid portrayal of CRAVITY’s today and tomorrow.

The lead single “Love or Die”‘s rapid drum and bass beat aptly embodies the life-affirming, infectious spirit that is characteristic of CRAVITY. The lyric “I’d rather die than live without love,” which underlines CRAVITY’s increased self-assurance and commitment to what they love, gets more pronounced throughout the song’s crescendo. The members’ pursuit of love is heightened in the accompanying music video. It shows that even with each setback we may face during each phase of life, we emerge stronger and are more ready for what lies ahead.

Every song on EVERSHINE offers an unforgettable listening experience, from the pop-infused “C’est La Vie” to the psychedelic rock sounds of “Worst Thriller” to the brightly colored vocals of “Cherry Blossom.” “Love or Die,” which members Serim and Allen helped write, offers a great mix of rock and EDM. “Mr.” is a potent EDM track—it has not just Serim and Allen as co-writers but also WJSN’s very own EXY. “Over & Over,” co-written and produced by Allen, rounds out the album with its new guitar sound and solid bass, evocative of a deep desire to go back in time to cherish a precious relationship.

Since their debut album, Season 1. Hideout: Remember Who We Are, was released on April 14th, 2020, CRAVITY has grown astronomically, igniting curiosity, excitement and garnering white-hot interest.

For the first time in five years since Monsta X, Starship Entertainment’s CRAVITY, got its name fusing the words “creativity” and “gravity,” With nine members—Serim, Allen, Jungmo, Woobin, Wonjin, Minhee, Hyeongjun, Taeyoung, and Seongmin—CRAVITY, which stands for “Center of Gravity,” aims to draw listeners in with their charisma, creativity, and unrestricted talent.

CRAVITY has won multiple awards in Korea to date, notably rookie of the year and the moniker “Super Rookie” for the success of their first album. It peaked at number one on the U.S. @iTunes Top K-Pop Albums chart and propelled them to number 12 on Billboard’s Social 50 chart, making them the fifth-fastest South Korean group to do so.

CRAVITY was dubbed “Monster Rookies” in 2020 for his rise to prominence as a global artist. In addition to winning “New Artist of the Year” at the 12th Melon Music Awards, “Best of Next” at the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards, and “Rookie Award” at the fourth Soribada Awards, the band set a record as the first 2020 rookie artist to debut on the Billboard K-pop Hot 100.

As time goes on, CRAVITY continues to explode in the industry, creating a unique success story, honing their craft, and leaving their imprint time and time again.
