Cravity Venture Into the World of Sci-Fi With ‘Gas Pedal’
Serving as the lead single off their first LP ‘The Awakening: Written In The Stars,’ the track aims at solidifying the group’s mark into the competitive K-pop industry
Rookie boy group Cravity, who debuted just last year, has released their first LP titled The Awakening: Written In The Stars. Forayed by the lead single “Gas Pedal,” the group reels in powerful trap-synth to emphasize the group’s determination to leave their mark on the industry, “Follow the stars, higher than normal, we climbin’/ Go up, I’ll show you.”
In an almost sci-fi meets cyberpunk setting, the group channel their zest and punk in neon-lit allies, motor-rinks and futuristic labs, hinting towards their growth to be a better version of themselves.
Co-written by Serim and Allen, the group highlight their tenacity as they deliver the chorus supported by high-tempo sounds, “Swerve to the left now/ Gas pedal, gas pedal, gas pedal, uh/ Run (Crazy for me)/ We swervin’ all night.”
Joining the tracklist of the group’s first LP are seven additional tracks titled, “Intro: New Horizon,” “VENI VIDI VICI,” “CHINGA-LINGA,” “Celebrate,” “Grand Prix,” “Drivin’,” and “GO GO.”
