Clint Lewis – voice notes

Kerala artist Clint Lewis recently teamed up with producer Adi. for a two-track EP titled voice notes. The first song on offer is the lo-fi hip-hop track “the fall” featuring Dubai-based rapper Fura who delivers hard-hitting rhymes about losing oneself and spiraling down a path of uncertainty. The record then moves to the laidback “good things in store” that brings on Puducherry indie artist Micah who sings of surrendering to life’s unexpected twists and turns.

NISHA – 11:11

Indian-origin and U.S.-based pop artist NISHA just put out a short film documenting this year’s debut EP Paris. The 11-minute movie – shot by the singer – sees the musician performing the record in its entirety through dynamic shots, colors and moods.

Nisa Shetty – “Six In The Morning”

Mumbai/New Delhi singer-songwriter Nisa Shetty is at her comedic sultry best in the music video for her latest R&B laced single “Six In The Morning.” The song itself features lush production as well as Shetty’s saccharine vocals and suggestive lyricism. In the clip – directed by Shetty – the artist is seen fantasizing about a sitarist played by Vidyuth Gargi. Through the clip, the pair are seen in cute, romantic and even spicy situations, with Shetty sari-clad and Gargi sporting a bright pink shirt. If you’re in for a chuckle, this little witty clip would do the trick.

Tripped N Sat – “Can’t Say No”

Los Angeles-based pop duo Tripped N Sat – comprising Indian origin producer Parichay Nathani and U.S.-bred Jason Hines – recently dropped a dazzling new number titled “Can’t Say No.” The track features catchy vocal hooks, playful production, a memorable acoustic guitar pattern as well as smooth harmonies. In a statement, the duo said, “This song has the feeling of a fresh start, finding happiness on your own and making new friends.”
