Vasuda Sharma, Arnav Maggo – “Tere Bina”

Mumbai-based singer-songwriter Vasuda Sharma and fellow artist Arnav Maggo recently teamed up on the hauntingly beautiful just-released single “Tere Bina.” The track features a lovely acoustic guitar-picking pattern while the exquisite string arrangements add to its charm. Sharma and Maggo both shine on the song as their voices intertwine gorgeously to create lush and rich harmonies. In a statement, the artists said, “‘Tere Bina’ is about the end of what was expected to be a promising bond between two people. It revolves around the emptiness and longing that comes with it.”

Iridescent Grapevine – Iris

Mumbai musician and producer Aaditya Surve aka Iridescent Grapevine’s newest offering is his four-track hazy EP entitled Iris. The record includes a calming keyboard base throughout as melodic instrumentation, a variety of soundscapes and Surve’s elegant production elevates the EP. The artist said in a statement, “With these new songs, I’ve tried to explore a bit more into the feel and minimalism of neo-classical genre [‘Willow’ and ‘Moving Forward’], while ‘Blue Fog’ is pretty lo-fi and ‘Sodapop’ a bit towards chill modern electronica with vocal chops and synths.” He added, “Anyway, the music has a bit of a score-like vibe to it and the idea has been to capture certain moods and make the listener feel something.”
