Indo-German International Jazz Week
An initiative that aims to spread jazz between India and Germany, the Indo-German International Jazz Week that takes place this week will showcase unity in diversity, the spirit of creativity, the celebration of the human spirit as well as foster peace, harmony, and goodwill and aim to bring about a positive change in the environment. The artists on display include Germany’s Klaus Graf Quartet, Arifa Quartet from the Netherlands and Chennai-based Maarten Visser. Also on the bill include acts such as MoonArra World Fusion Ensemble, Gerard Machado Trio, Suvankar, Vivek Santhosh Trio and the Raman Iyer Quartet among others.

Sandunes, JBABE, OX7GEN (Toxic Positivity India Tour)
Mumbai-bred producer Sanaya Ardeshir aka Sandunes kicks off her four-city Toxic Positivity tour this week with a hometown set at the city-based antiSOCIAL. The artist is set to perform a live set alongside musicians such as singer-songwriter Mali, bassist Krishna Jhaveri (from Indo/American rockers Skyharbor), vocalist-guitarist Joshua Fernandez aka JBABE (from Chennai rockers The F16s) and drummer-producer Aditya Ashok aka OX7GEN (from Mumbai pop-rock band The Colour Compound). JBABE and OX7GEN will also play solo sets of their own at the gig.

Mayur Nagpal
Mumbai/Goa singer-songwriter Mayur Nagpal is set to perform his brand of personal songs that revolve around relationships, mental health and moving on at an intimate gig at Hyderabad’s Aaromalé – Café & Creative Community this week. Fellow Hyderabad-based singer-songwriter Sai Vsr will perform an opening set ahead of Nagpal.

Easy Wanderlings (Caught In A Parade Tour 2022)
With their forthcoming EP Caught In A Parade releasing tomorrow, Pune soul/easy listening group Easy Wanderlings have charted out an eight-city tour to support the record. This week the band hits New Delhi’s Depot48 and will perform tracks off the new EP as well as older favorites from their extensive catalog.
