One of the top premium luxury fashion brands in the world, Gucci, appoints Park Gyu-young as its new global brand ambassador.

The Celebrity (2023) actor recently headlined as Seo Ah-ri, seeking to make it big as a social media influencer while also plunging into its darker realms in the process. Her prior work includes critically acclaimed successes like the romantic-comedy K-drama It’s Okay to Not Be Okay (2020), the horror apocalypse Sweet Home (2020), the procedural dystopian drama The Devil Judge (2021), and the rom-com Dali & Cocky Prince (2021).

Gucci welcomed Park, naming her one of its global brand ambassadors upon her appearance at the Gucci Ancora fashion show in Milan on September 22, 2023. The brand aims to have Park join their future events.

Regarding the association, Soompi reports that Gucci stated, “We are greatly delighted to have Park Gyu-young join us in future various activities. We look forward to creating new aesthetics and styles for the brand together with her.” Park expressed that she values and intends to use several collaboration initiatives with the brand to draw out her distinct personality, drive, and confidence.

Park joins a stellar list of Korean superstars to sign with Gucci, following the likes of Lee Jung-jae, Shin Min-a, IU, Kai (EXO), and Hanni (NewJeans).

The actor has unmistakably been at the helm of her rocketing career throughout, never limiting herself to styles, characters, or possibilities, so the world is her oyster; she is incrementally broadening her horizons and is slated to star in the much-anticipated romantic-comedy drama A Good Day to Be a Dog next to Cha Eun-woo (ASTRO) and the second installment of the grisly survival megabucks mega smash Squid Game, boasting an eclectic cast.
