End of the year options for fans of the Mumbai concert series Live From The Console look pretty clear. The series is pitching tent in Goa on December 29th and December 30th to bring 13 artists including electro-rock band AWOLNATION, reggae star Julian Marley and his band The Uprising, New York indie duo Cults, UK bass act Dub Mafia, American singer-songwriter Joe Purdy and Austrian dub band Dubblestandart. Says  Jayesh Veralkar, label head, Day 1 that organizes the festival with event management agency Oranjuice Entertainment, “The venue change was purely for logistical reasons and is not going to affect our festival in any way including capacity.” The single stage festival is expected to draw a crowd of at least 5,000 music fans.

The monthly gig series, which has been bringing new bands to the front since July 2011, will add Indian acts such as Delhi’s gypsy-psych rockers Peter Cat Recording Co, Mumbai alt rock band Tough On Tobacco and indie rockers Sky Rabbit to the two-day festival’s lineup.

Tickets for the festival are on sale, with Rs 2,000 for day passes, and Rs 3,500 for a season pass covering entry for both days.
