Percept Live’s ambitious two-day, two-city, multi-genre Fly Music Festival announced the addition of Atlanta, Georgia heavy metal band Mastodon to a lineup that’s already packed with heavy hitters. The festival will be held simultaneously in Noida and Bengaluru on the 16th and 17th of February. This will be Mastodon’s first series of shows in the country.

Last week, Fly Festival had announced the addition of thrash metal band Anthrax to the lineup that included Limp Bizkit, Robby Krieger and Ray Manzarek of The Doors, KT Tunstall, The Wailers, The Dhol Foundation, Deap Vally, Dub Pistols, The Cuban Brothers, Kitty Daisy & Lewis and Nervecell. Rumors about the addition of Mastodon began floating around after Anthrax posted a note mentioning the band on their Facebook page.

Fly Festival confirmed the announcement earlier this evening. The festival lineup will also include 10 Indian bands that are still to be announced.
