Nationwide Band Hunt Sennheiser Top 50 Returns; Raghu Dixit, Papon, SEL Judges
The second edition of the contest offers Indian bands big prizes, festival performance slots and recording sessions with the judges

Nation-wide band hunt Sennheiser Top 50 returns for its second edition this month, and is offering independent acts the chance to win big with prizes that range from Sennheiser gear and endorsements to recording sessions at Mumbai-based recording studio Flying Carpet Productions with ace producer Ashish Manchanda.
The top three bands to win the contest will receive studio-quality Sennheiser gear that includes Sennheiser Evolution Wireless 500 G3 vocal microphones and Sennheiser HD 280 headphones. In addition to this, the winning band will land a two-year endorsement deal by Sennheiser India, the first runner-up receives recording sessions at Flying Carpet Productions, and the second runner-up will be able to take part in valuable mentoring sessions conducted by Sennheiser endorsees.
Bands can register (before July 20th ) by submitting their songs and recordings through SoundCloud links to the Sennheiser Top 50 website, and will be shortlisted to the Top 50 through a combination nof jury decisions and online voting. This year’s jury comprises musician-composer trio Shankar–Ehsaan-Loy, and folk/rock acts Raghu Dixit and Papon and producer Ashish Manchanda. The maiden edition of Sennheiser Top 50 saw Delhi rockers The Local Train win the grand two-year endorsement, while runners up included Delhi-based fusion duo Shadow and Light and Nagaland folk act Purple Fusion.
