Desi hip-hop heavyweights such as KR$NA, Sambata and Dhanji are among the top-billed acts at hip-hop and urban culture festival Simba Uproar, whose 2026 edition heads to Mumbai on March 22 at MMRDA Grounds. DJs Ishani B2B Bobkat and OG Shez will also spin tunes at the day-long event that features freestyle motocross (FMX) and more extreme sports.
The festival is also doubling down on its FMX component, with professional riders and curated stunt segments designed to function as headline visual moments in their own right. Ahead of the Mumbai main event, a series of pre-event gigs across select cities will also take place, in a bid to engage regional hip-hop communities.
The 2026 edition follows last year’s at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, with the lineup including King, Raga, Karma, Tricksingh and Pho. The festival paired live performances with art installations, skate arenas and FMX showcases.
Simba and ZigZag co-founder Ishwaraj Singh Bhatia says in a statement, “Simba Uproar was built as a culture-first platform where artists and audiences stand on equal footing. The response in Delhi reinforced our belief that India is ready for music properties that prioritise authenticity and access. With Mumbai, we are scaling the experience while keeping the core ethos intact.”
Simba Uproar 2026 will operate on a single-tier ticketing format, minus VIP sections. Tickets are priced at ₹699 and available via BookMyShow.
