SystemHouse33 Set to Join Soulfly on U.S. Tour

The Mumbai metallers will embark on their next international tour in February and March for 14 shows

After knocking out tours with the likes of Israeli metallers Orphaned Land, American death metal stalwarts Dying Fetus and more, Mumbai metallers SystemHouse33 will kick off their first tour of 2020 with Brazilian veteran metallers Soulfly, across 14 shows in the U.S. this February.

Frontman Samron Jude considers Soulfly founder and vocalist-guitarist Max Cavalera as a “flag-bearer for heavy metal.” He adds, “While growing up, if somebody told me that you will be touring with Max and Soulfly in the future, I wouldn’t know how to express myself. I feel this is the best feeling for any musician to play alongside someone who has been an inspiration.”

As part of Soulfly’s The Summoning North America tour in 2020, SystemHouse33 will join American thrash metal band Toxic Holocaust, plus West Coast metallers X-Method from February 27th in Chicopee, Massachusetts to March 12th in Houston, Texas. Along the way, the Mumbai metallers – Jude, guitarist Vigneshkumar Venkatraman, bassist Shawn Phulpagar and drummer Parker Yowell – will hit up Brooklyn’s famed venue Saint Vitus, plus shows in Atlanta, Orlando, New Orleans and Dallas, amongst others. Jude adds, “We’ve been wanting to tour with Max Cavalera since he is one of our thrash metal inspirations and it’s been calling for the past three years.”

With the release of their 2019 album End of Days, there’s mostly the latest material and their previous album Regression that will be part of the tour setlist. Jude says there’s already work on the next album underway, which will release in 2021. For now, there’s the much needed time back on the road. The vocalist says, “We have invested a lot in touring and promoting our brand of music across the globe and taking Indian metal to America, once again, makes this an incredible experience.”
