Last month, when Split performed at the Pepsi MTV Indies Awkwards in Mumbai, fans of all ages, some of who were watching them perform for the first time, cheered for the band. A 30-minute set that revived classics like “Return to Bicameralism” left the crowd yearning for more.
The band returned to stage last night at Hard Rock Café, Worli in Mumbai, to play a set that lasted for almost two hours. Split didn’t allow the poor turnout to mar the performance and powered through the show, appeasing ardent fans who clearly didn’t want the band to step off stage.
