Watch: Noisware on Their New Material
The Pune experimental metal band talk about what fans can expect from their upcoming album
Unlike most other Indian metal bands, Pune experimental metallers Noiseware are willing to say sorry for the lack of new material in nearly a year. The band, who were nominated in five categories at the Rolling Stone Metal Awards last year for their 2012 single “Flicker,” say they’re “waist-deep” with their debut full-length album. The band has finished writing five songs and plan to release a nine-track album
Noiseware, who were in Mumbai to perform at annual crowdfunded gig series Control Alt Delete’s metal edition, gave fans a taste of their new, untitled material, playing two new songs which leaned toward constructed prog metal. Guitarist Adhiraj Singh confirmed the band’s no longer just doing it for fun. The band’s guitarist Aniket Patni adds, “I think we’re focusing on better songwriting than anything else.”
